DOG PORTRAITS
The bond between man or woman and a dog is indescribable. For each pet “parent” who looks into the eyes of a beloved dog an instant communication reassures and confirms that people and dogs belong together. In this serious of paintings, I start with the eyes because they “speak” to me too. None of these faces belong to any particular dog and some of them portray lineage surely suspect. Still, one might look like your dog–the one you have now. Or your first best friend from childhood. I hope you enjoy looking at the pack who make up the dog days of summer...and beyond, because I’m still painting!
